Time for some real talk… 

Spoiler alert: you do not need those fancy silicone mats or tiny washing machines (even though they’re cute) to clean your makeup tools.

Here’s what you’re going to do to avoid bacteria buildup and skin breakouts:

1. Hold the brush bristles down under lukewarm water
2. Use a gentle cleanser on your palm and swirl the bristles in circular motions (GENTLY)
3. Rinse until clear
4. Squeeze out excess water and reshape with your fingers 
5. Lay them out flat on a towel until they’re dry

And voila!!! Because hoarding your brushes and not taking care of them is just not how we do it at the Beauty Spot.
